1. Service Description

Arc Security ("we", "us", "our") provides website security monitoring, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and WordPress security hardening services for small businesses. Our services are accessed through arcsecurity.ai and include interactions with Arc, our AI-powered security researcher.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Arc Security services only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Use our tools to scan, test, or attack websites you do not own or have explicit authorization to test
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
Resell, redistribute, or sublicense our services without written permission
Use our services to develop competing products
Provide false or misleading information when creating an account or requesting services

4. Authorization for Security Services

By subscribing to our security services, you represent and warrant that you are the owner of, or have explicit authorization to perform security testing on, the website(s) you submit for scanning or hardening. You authorize Arc Security to perform automated and manual security assessments on your behalf.

5. Payment Terms

Paid services are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to:

Pay all fees associated with your selected plan
Provide accurate and complete billing information
Authorize recurring charges for subscription plans until cancelled

All fees are quoted in US dollars. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at travis@arcsecurity.ai. Upon cancellation:

Your access continues through the end of the current billing period
No refunds are issued for partial billing periods
Security monitoring and alerting will stop at the end of the billing period
You may request deletion of your data at any time

7. Limitation of Liability

Arc Security provides security services on an "as is" basis. While we strive to identify and remediate vulnerabilities, no security solution can guarantee complete protection. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
We are not responsible for damages resulting from security incidents that occur despite our services

8. Intellectual Property

All tools, reports, scanning technology, and content on arcsecurity.ai are the property of Arc Security. Security reports generated for your websites are licensed to you for your internal use.

9. Communications

By using our services, you consent to receive service-related communications via email. If you opt in to SMS notifications, you also agree to our SMS Terms of Service. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Belknap County, New Hampshire.
